Message of the Day: Made Alive to Do Good Works
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.” (Ephesians 2:10, NASB)

In our natural sense, we are spiritually dead because of sin. We cannot do anything to bring our life back, because no matter how much we strive to do good, we remain sinners. We are under the influence of the devil thus, rebellious against God. (v.v. 1-3).
Since we can’t do anything about our sinfulness, God did what we cannot do for ourselves. We were given new life, and were made alive. We are the result of this work in Christ Jesus.
We were made alive to do good works to the glory of God and the benefit of man. He planned and prepared them long ago, so we will live by them. That is, doing good works becomes our lifestyle.
