Message of the Day: In God We Are Always Safe and Secure
“I have set the Lord continually before me; Because He is at my right hand I will not be shaken.” (Psalm 16:8, NASB)
Chapter 16 is David’s thanksgiving to God for rescuing him from what it seemed to be certain death. Wealth may bring satisfaction to people, but David considers that because he has God, he has all the satisfaction, security and stability one can ever desire.
Nothing can disturb or overthrow God’s continual presence in him.
God is our counselor, friend and protector. He is the source of our stability and security. Under his divine favor and protection nothing will disturb our well-being or unsettle our security. By night or by day we are always safe and secure in God’s presence.
