Message of the Day: Love of God’s Word Brings Completeness and Stability

Those who love your law have great peace, And nothing causes them to stumble.” (Psalm 119:165, NASB)

The Hebrew word used here for peace is Shalom which means completeness, soundness, welfare, prosperity and health. These are the blessings that go with loving the Word of God. It also means friendship with God within the premise of the covenant.

By loving God’s Word we experience inner peace and stability that no one can disturb. No amount of troubles or problems can disrupt that “great peace” in our heart. We will not be troubled and anxious.

Our friendship with God and our love for his Word bring completeness and stability of our mind and heart, even in the midst of troubles and disappointments.
