Message of the Day: We All Contribute to the Unity and Health of Our Faith Communities
“For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.” (Romans 12:4-5)

The apostle Paul uses the human body as a metaphor for the unity of the church. Each member of the body has a distinct function yet there must be unity and integration. This unity is centered in Christ. As far as Paul is concerned, the key to the unity of faith communities is found in Christ alone.
All of us should acknowledge that as members of the body of Christ, all of us have been given different abilities. There is no such thing as insignificant or small ability, all are important and useful. All of us are designed to contribute to the unity and health of our faith communities.
