Message of the Day: We Are Not Just Guests In God’s Household, We Are Part Of The Family
“So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household.” (Ephesians 2:19, NASB)

The Jews, having been chosen as God’s people felt privileged than the far off Gentiles. They considered themselves close to God. They even prevented the them from entering the holiest part of the temple. They built a solid wall that separated them from the Gentiles. They treated them as guests to God’s house, and as such, they had limited access to it. Christ’s death demolished that wall, paving the way for the abolition of the offensive law and commandments. It destroyed the hatred and made peace (v.v. 13-16).
In Christ there is no distinction between Jews and non-Jews, for all who believe belonged to God, they are part of God’s household. All have equal status as members of his family.
We do not just come and visit God’s house, just like what guests do, were part of it, we have unlimited access to it. We are entitled to all the privileges which others have.
