Message of the Day: Like-mindedness, Love and Kindness in the Church

Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous.” (1 Peter 3:8, NKJV)

In 1 Peter 2:11-17, Peter addressed all his readers, and in 2:18-25 he spoke directly to slaves; in 3:1-6 he addressed wives, and in 3:7 husbands. Now he encourages all his readers to develop virtues appropriate in their relations with others.

In the church Christians must be like-minded and be considerate for one another. We must exhibit love and kindness to everyone, even to those whom we find hard to like.
