Message of the Day: Confidence and Endurance As Christ Is Coming Soon.

Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise.” (Hebrews 10:35-36, NKJV)

The author of the book of Hebrews encourages us not to forsake Christ, by virtue of what we have been through for His sake. Some of us have persevered through insults, violence, and abuse because of our confidence of a lasting reward.

Endurance is important, since there must always be some waiting time before a promise can be fulfilled. For us Christians, the promised reward will be at Christ’s return, when he judges between those who persevere in faith and those who turn back.

Since we believe that Christ’s coming is drawing near, our confidence and endurance grow stronger.
