Message of the Day: Without the Spirit Man is Unable to Appreciate the Things of the Spirit of God.
“But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised.” (1 Corinthians 2:14, NASB)
The unbelievers are characterized by merely physical, worldly or natural life. Because he does not possess the Spirit of God, thus they reject the things of God as foolish, they do not have the means of understanding them.

In order to appreciatively receive the truth that comes from the Spirit, they need the new birth.
The believers on the other hand, are expected to be mature because Christ has transformed their thinking. They are able to see things from Christ’s perspective, examine, decide rightly and not blinded by the god of this world.
