Message of the Day: A Good and Timely Advice Blesses Both the Giver and Receiver.

A man has joy by the answer of his mouth, and a word spoken in due season, how good it is!” (Proverbs 15:23, NKJV)

A soft answer turns away anger. This is probably refer to the debates in council (v. 22). They bring before us the special traits of the East, the delight in ready, improvised advice or reply, solving disputes and hardships and turning aside anger.

Those who bring joy to others can be assured of God’s goodness to them, but God opposes those who plot evil and use their position of power to exploit the poor and the defenseless (v.v.23-24).

We see here a two way flow of blessing, a good and timely advice blesses both the giver and the receiver.
