Message of the Day: Right Behavior and Worship Comes from Within – Genuine Repentance!

Come now, and let us reason together,” says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow, though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” (Isaiah 1:18, NKJV)

Israelites thought they were pleasing God by offering sacrifices, and doing public worship services, and observing feasts. However, because they are filled with sin and hate, no matter how correct the form of worship, God will not accept it unless the people display a passion for right behavior (Isa. 1:10-15).

Believers must turn from their selfishness and deceit, and start showing love and honesty in their daily lives if they want to please God.

God is ready and willing to cleanse us if we will stop pleasing ourselves and obey him instead. Only genuine repentance and obedience will result to right behavior and correct form of worship. It should come from within us!
