Message of the Day: In Jesus We Can Overcome the World and have Peace!
“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33, NKJV)

The contrast between “in me” and “in this world” and between “peace” and “tribulation” is very much obvious. “In me” (in Jesus) we may have peace. Peace here means security, safety or prosperity. While “in the world” we may have tribulation or distress or trouble. Before his death, Jesus affirmed His final victory.
Through Jesus’ triumph we can also overcome the world and experience peace in Him.
