Message of the Day: Be Reconciled to God. Now!

“We are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.” (2 Cor. 5:20, NKJV)

Prior to Paul’s conversion, he had judged Jesus by the standards of the ordinary people of the world, in doing so, he hah judged the Lord wrongly. But now that he had been converted to Christianity, he no longer judge Christ or anyone else, from merely human standpoint. He now sees everything in a new light. Old attitudes are gone and replaced by new ones (2 Cor. 5:16-17).

This process of change from old to new attitudes is part of the total work that God does to reconcile people to Himself, and turn sinners into his friends. It happened to Paul and countless individual throughout history, including us.

Now that we have been reconciled to God, like Paul and the apostles, He sends us out as ambassadors to declare the message of reconciliation to others, so that other sinners might be brought to God (2 Cor. 5:18-20).

Be reconciled to God, do it now!
