Message of the Day: Outpouring of Love and Thanksgiving to God!

I will love you, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” (Psalm 18:1-2, NKJV)

David burst into thanksgiving and declaring his love for God in the day that the Lord delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul. This outpouring of praise recorded here is applicable to many of David’s experiences. David reached the zenith of his power as king, he had just conquered all his enemies, and now controlled all the country from Egypt to Euphrates.

He declared his love for God, thanking Him for answering his prayers and for saving him from death at the hands of his enemies.

Likewise, we should love God not merely because he was infinitely great and good, possessed of all possible perfections, but because he was good to us, he answers our prayers and always present to save us from danger.
