Message of the Day: A Forgiving Love
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if have love for one another.” (John 13:34-35, NKJV)
When Judas left the room, Jesus’ death was made certain, though as far as Jesus is concerned, that death would not be a misfortune but a glorious triumph. His death would bring glory to God by displaying his immeasurable love for sinful men and women.

It would also bring grief to his disciples as they saw their master taken from them. But they were to show no bitterness in their grief; rather, a forgiving love, by which others would see that they were indeed disciples of Jesus.
The measure of our love for another is set by Christ’s love for us. It is the proof that we are His followers.
