Message of the Day: Get Rid of Attitudes and Actions that Hinder Love!

As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.” (1 Peter 2:2-3, NKJV)

By acting with sincere love towards one another, Christians can show that they have received cleansing and been given new life. This new life comes through accepting the gospel which is God’s word, not man’s. Since this new life comes from God, it is eternal. (1 Peter 1:22-25)

We are to exercise love towards one another, and in doing so, we should get rid of attitudes and actions that hinder love. We were born into this eternal life through the word of God, therefore, the only means by which we should grow is to feed on that same word.
