Message of the Day: You Fulfill the Law if You Love Your Neighbor!
“Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.” (Romans 13:8, NKJV)
The apostle Paul reminds the brethren in Rome that the best way for them to fulfill the law is to get along with each other. Love of one’s neighbor is always stressed by Judaism and sometimes recognized it as a commandment that summarized God’s law.
We Christians should also establish good relationship with fellow citizens, not just because the law tells us to, but because Christ love has transformed us within. We are bound by this love, a kind of love that prevents us from inflicting injury or undue pain to our neighbor.
