The Use of the National Anthem as Part of the signing off of Radio and TV Broadcasting

President Ramon Magsaysay signed Executive Order No. 25, s. 1945 amending Executive Order No. 321 s. 1950 issued by his predecessor, Pres. Elpidio Quirino. E.O No. 25. E.O. No. 25 introduced the use of the National Anthem of the Philippines as part of the signing off of radio broadcast and television networks.

The playing the Lupang Hinirang in the signing in of radio and TV netwoks was later mandated by Executive Order No. 99, s. 1993 issued by Pres. Fidel V. Ramos.

Let us always remember these historic decrees and honor our national symbols as proof of our solidarity with our fellow countrymen.
