Message of the Day: The Eternity of God and the Brevity of Human Life.
“Before the mountains were brought forth,
Or ever You had formed the earth and the world,
Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.” (Psalm 90:2, NKJV)

This psalm is probably the first psalm to be written by Moses, who lived 400 years before David. Other songs that Moses wrote include Exodus 15 and Deuteronomy 32. Rabbinic tradition also assigns psalm 91-100 to Moses.
God alone is eternal and infinite, therefore in him we find the only true security. Human life, by contrast is brief and uncertain, and is brought to an end as God wills and when he decides. No matter how long a person lives, even to a thousand years, the number of years is nothing compared to the eternity of God. Let us put our trust this eternal God and find our true security in him!
