Message of the Day: Think of Others Before Thinking of Self.
“…bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.” (Colossians 3:13, NKJV)

The person-to-person relationship with Christ is the emphasis of this letter of Paul to the Colossians: “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (1:27). Live in Him, rooted in Him, built up in Him (2:6–7). You have been given fullness in Him (2:10), you died with Him (2:20), you have been raised with Him (3:1), your life is now hidden with Him in God (3:3).
Therefore, believers should avoid all occasions of irritating or provoking each other. If you were offended, be instantly ready to forgive on the first acknowledgment of the fault.
We should put off old sinful habits as we would put off dirty clothes. We should put on new good habits as we would put on fresh clean clothes. We should have a new attitude, which thinks of others before thinking of self. It is as if the new ‘clothes’ we have just put on are bound together by love, so that our appearance is one of genuine beauty and completeness. (3:12-14)
