Message of the Day: We Are Always Confident Of God’s Help.
“As for God, His way is perfect;
The word of the Lord is proven;
He is a shield to all who trust in Him.” (Psalm 18:30, NKJV)

David wrote Psalm chapter 18 after years of running from Saul, when he had become king and had the kingdom firmly established. He attributed it all to God, his Strength, Rock, Fortress, Deliverer, Support, Refuge, Shield, Horn, Stronghold. One of the best psalms.
David opened this psalm by declaring his love for God and thanking God for hearing his prayers and saving him from death at the hands of his enemies. God revealed himself in dramatic exhibitions of his mighty power, using earthquakes and storms, wind and rain, lightning and thunder to deliver his servant.The reason God answered David’s prayers was that David walked in God’s ways and kept himself pure and humble.
God’s attitude towards us, whether he helped us or opposed us, depends on whether we are devoted to him or rebelled against him. If we put our confidence in God, we will always be confident of his help.
