Message of the Day: God’s Promise Exceeded All Manifestations of Himself as Subject of Praise.

I will worship toward Your holy temple,
And praise Your name
For Your lovingkindness and Your truth;
For You have magnified Your word above all Your name
.” (Psalm 138:2, NKJV)

Psalm 138 is a song of thanksgiving, apparently on the occasion of some notable answer to prayer. David imagines himself showing all lifeless gods how useless they are and how great is the only true God.

Let us bow down and adore the Lord in his tabernacle because of his mercy, benevolence, and his faithfulness to his promise. God’s promise is sustained by his mercy and truth, exceeded all other manifestations of himself as subject of praise.
