“You are my hiding place and my shield;
I hope in Your word.” (Psalm 119:114, NKJV)

We would be safe under the protection of God. He will conceal us from our enemies, and by fleeing to him, he would secure us against all the evils which sin brings upon us.

There is a time in which we may called to suffer in secret, then he hides us. There may be a time in which he calls us to fight, then he is our shield and protector.
