Message of the Day: God Will Count Us Righteous If We In Him – The One Who Raised Jesus From The Dead!
Text: Romans 3:1-4:25
Key Verses: Romans 4:23-25
“Now it was not written for his sake alone that it was imputed to him, but also for us. It shall be imputed to us who believe in Him who raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead, who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification.” (NKJV)

In Romans 3:1-8, Paul tackles the issue of God’s faithfulness in light of Jewish sinfulness. he concluded it with a declaration that both the Jews and the Gentiles are sinful and therefore need help, which the law could not provide (3:9-20)
The good news is through the death of Christ, God’ righteousness is given apart from the law and is applicable to Jew and the Gentiles alike by faith (3:21-26). Boasting has no place based on the law of faith, not on the law of Moses, faith is the alone is needed, since there is only one God – for Gentiles as well as Jews.
For all of this, Abraham serves as a model. He not only believed God and thus was reckoned with righteousness but also that this happened while he was still uncircumcised (and therefore, a Gentile), thus making him the father of all, both Jew and Gentile alike. Abraham was declared righteous because he trusted God.
In the same way, God will accept us as righteous if we trust in what Christ has done for us through his death and resurrection.
