Message of the Day: Unity in Diversity
“For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, 5 so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.” (Romans 12:4-5, NKJV)

Paul likens Christians to members of a human body. There are many members and each has a different function, but all are needed for the health of the body. The emphasis is on unity in diversity. Thus, no one should esteem himself to be of no importance. God designed that there should be differences of gifts and abilities; just as it is necessary that there should be differences in the members of the human body, and no one should despise or lightly esteem another. All are necessary.
Above all, Christ is the key to the concept of unity. It is only him that any unity is possible. True unity is spiritually based.
