Message of the Day: There is Safety In Nowhere Except In God’s Care
“The fear of man brings a snare,
But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe.” (Proverbs 29:25, NKJV)
The confusion and wretchedness in which the fear of what men can do entangles us, is contrasted with the security of one, who not only fears God so as to avoid offending him, but trusts in him as his protector and guide. There can be no justice when the basis of people’s decision-making is fear of those who are influential or partiality towards those who are their friends.
There is safety in nowhere except in the care of God, for in hi hands alone are sources of safety. He makes safe those who trust him fully. We trust the Lord is able willing, ready to care for us, and that we are worthy of his care and protection. For this kind of “trust” can exist only between two parties in accord and in the confidence of each other.
Outside of God’s protection, there is darkness and danger!
