Message of the Day: A Call To Praise and Thanksgiving!
“Oh come, let us sing to the Lord!
Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.
Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving;
Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.” (Psalm 95:1-2, NKJV)

Psalms 95-100 are six psalms grouped so as to form a series for use in the worship. The first psalm opens by calling people to worship God because he is the savior (95:1-2), the great God (95:3), the creator and controller of the universe (95:4-5), the maker of the human race (95:6) and, above all, the covenant Lord and shepherd of his people.
Worship, however, must be joined to obedience. Israel’s experiences in the wilderness show that people might claim to belong to God, but be so complaining, disobedient and stubborn that, it is impossible for them to enjoy the inheritance God promised (95:8-11).
Let us praise God, not only with our voice but with hearts tuned to gratitude, from a full sense of the manifold benefits we have already received. God is our rock of salvation! The strong fortress in which we have always found safety, and the source wherefrom we have always derived help for our souls. Let us praise him for what he has already done, and confess our unworthiness of any of his blessings. Our praise, thanksgiving and confession are acceptable to our Holy and just God!
