Message of the Day: What Does God Requires Of Us?
“He has shown you, O man, what is good;
And what does the Lord require of you
But to do justly,
To love mercy,
And to walk humbly with your God?” (Micah 6:8, NKJV)

The passage tells of what God wants namely, justice that is, “to do justly” or to give to all their due, and love towards our fellowmen and faithfulness and humility towards God. We are to give our neighbor his due, not only that, but what mercy, kindness, and love require.
We can do this by walking humbly with God. Humility implies to acknowledge our iniquity, and submit to be saved by his mercy. Correct sacrifices and enthusiastic religious exercises are of no value if the people do not have right attitudes and right conduct.
