Message of the Day: The Golden Rule And Its Great Value!
“Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.” (Matthew 7:12, NKJV)

The so-called Golden Rule, a name given to it on account of its great value, is found in negative form in rabbinic Judaism and also in Hinduism, Buddhism and Confucianism. It occurred in various forms in Greek and Roman ethical teaching. The general meaning of this is: Guided by justice and mercy, do unto all men as you would have them to do to you, were your circumstances and theirs reversed. Put yourself in the place of the other person, and ask what you would expect of him.
To practice the golden rule, even in small measure, makes us happy, it helps us in every relationship. It is the most practical thing in this world. In serving others we serve ourselves. People like to deal with those who believe in and practice the Golden Rule. Try it and see!
