Message of the Day: Temptations Do Come, But God Is Faithful! He Provides A Way Out!
“No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.” (1 Corinthians 10:13, NKJV)

Temptation in itself is not a sin. Jesus was tempted (Matthew 4:1-11). Yielding to the temptation is sin. If we are faithful, we have nothing to fear from any forms of temptation, God is able to bring us through them all.
Tests and temptations will indeed come, but there will always be a way out. Our temptations are such as human nature had often been subject to, and God was able to keep us from falling. All circumstances, agents and causes that lead to temptation are under the control of God. He can check them; he can control them; he can paralyze their influence; he can destroy them.
May we be encouraged by this: God knows what we are able to endure; and he will sustain us in our temptations. It matters not how severe the trial; or how long it may be continued; or how much we may feel our own frailty; yet God is abundantly able to uphold us. We may therefore, repose our all upon Him, and trust to His sustaining grace.
