Message of the Day: Growing Faith and Abundant Mutual Love
“We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other…” (2 Thessalonians 1:3, NKJV)

Paul’s thanksgiving was for the Thessalonians’ faith which is like a tree growing abundantly in spite of the constant persecution they suffer, and for their increasing mutual love. Paul continues to talk about them as an example that should challenge others. He feels a sense of obligation to keep on giving thanks to God because of God’s continued blessings on the Thessalonians.
This is indeed a good example that should challenge us: to let our faith grow and our mutual love abound even as we experience constant hardships in life.
