Message of the Day: If We Give Generously, God Will Bless Us Abundantly
“And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that by always having enough of everything, you may share abundantly in every good work.” (2 Corinthians 9:8, NRSV)
God takes notice of the way we give, and if we give generously he rewards us generously. People should decide thoughtfully the amount they should give, then give it joyfully. They need not fear poverty if they give much, because God is able to increase his supply to ensure that generous givers still have more than they need. The result of true giving is threefold: the poor are helped, the givers are blessed, and God is glorified in thanksgiving. (2 Cor. 9:6-12)
Through his abounding grace, God can enable each of us to abound in generous deeds. If we give generously, God will bless us abundantly and will provide the means so that we can give more and be blessed even more.
