Message of the Day: The All-Knowing and Ever Present God
“Search me, O God, and know my heart;
Try me, and know my anxieties;
And see if there is any wicked way in me,
And lead me in the way everlasting.” (Psalm 139:23-24, NKJV)

God knows all about us, what we do, what we think, where we go and what we say. This is exactly what the psalter realized. And because of this, sometimes he feels helpless. A person may be tempted to look for some escape from such an overpowering presence, but no escape is possible. This may bring fear to rebels but it brings comfort to believers. It is indeed comforting to know that wherever we travel, God is with us. In darkness or in light, God sees us constantly.
Being the creator, God has perfect knowledge of those he created. He knows their innermost thoughts as well as their physical characteristics, and has a detailed knowledge of their lives that are yet to be.
May we grow closer to God as we meditate on this, may we see the wicked as God sees them and hate evil as God hates it. Furthermore, may realize that we are not perfect. Let us pray that God will show us our sin, cleanse us, and lead us into a life of holiness.
