Jesus’ Final Week: WEDNESDAY

Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests and said, “What are you willing to give me if I deliver Him to you?” And they counted out to him thirty pieces of silver. So from that time he sought opportunity to betray Him. (Matthew 26:14-16, NKJV)

Then Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went to the chief priests to betray Him to them. And when they heard it, they were glad, and promised to give him money. So he sought how he might conveniently betray Him. (Mark 14:10-11, NKJV)

Now the Feast of Unleavened Bread drew near, which is called Passover. And the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might kill Him, for they feared the people. Then Satan entered Judas, surnamed Iscariot, who was numbered among the twelve. So he went his way and conferred with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray Him to them. And they were glad, and agreed to give him money. So he promised and sought opportunity to betray Him to them in the absence of the multitude. (Luke 22:1-6, NKJV)

Have you ever been betrayed?

  1. Sadly, multiple times. It hurts badly when it’s someone that I trusted. I suffered greatly as a result, not only emotionally, but by the terrible consequences their actions brought upon me.

  2. Betrayal, Wow, what to learn!
So Judas Betrayed Jesus, absolutely, yet I see this:
There has to be at least two witnesses, for what is said to be true, yes?

Judas, regretted, repented, and yes hung himself in remorse, and this was done before Christ’s death, and so Judas went to satan’s prison
Then whom showed up? Jesus, Then Jesus preached to the spirits in prison, so who was his Witness, as Jesus did not testify of himself, but of Father.
So Jesus and Judas where the Witnesses to all those held in prison, to fit Scripture

Then he was risen on that third day, along with the others, that believed also, Amazing how God makes a plan, that appears bad to others, flesh and blood, Yet Father God of the risen Son Jesus came through
Romans 8:28, it does not work out for those in unbelief, yet they can still repent, and believe, to be set free, while still in adversities
    John 16:33
And it be Father that knows who believe, and who does not, amazing grace it is still to this day, God just loves us, start right there and begin to see, as even Peter himself denied God three times, amazing and still was forgiven, whether he wanted it or not. Yet he did turn back to God and began learning new as all the turn to God do learn truth over errors made, as well as might make again, yet once decided belief, that does not quit
Once Father reveals this to them
