Message of the Day: God is the Protector and Defender of the Powerless!
“Father to the fatherless, defender of widows—this is God, whose dwelling is holy.” (Psalm 68:5, NLT)
When God fights for his people, their enemies are as helpless before them as smoke before wind or wax before fire. Nothing can stop him as he rides out to do battle. God is on the side of the poor, the afflicted and the downtrodden, but he opposes those who rebel against him. (Psalm 68:1-5)
God protects the helpless, vindicates the innocent, and punishes the rebels. He is the defender of the powerless. The more we become closer to God and intimately acquainted with his true nature, the more evidence we shall find that he is benevolent and kind.
